Biography

Joel completed his Physiotherapy degree at Charles Sturt University in Orange NSW after completing a Bachelor of Science at the University of Canberra.

Joel has played rugby in Canberra since a young age, playing over 100 junior and senior games for the Western Districts Rugby club including the 2017 John I Dent Grand final before playing for the Hall Bushrangers Rugby Club. Joel is also Bronze level swimming coach with over 10 years’ experience in the area and was awarded the ACT swim teacher of the year award in 2017.

Since graduating Joel has transitioned from the front row to team physiotherapist for the Hall Bushrangers, providing game day support and rehabilitation to the club.

Away from sport, Joel has a clinical interest in shoulder injuries in swimmers, lower back injuries and hand injuries, he is dedicated to providing quality care and achieving personal goals for all patients.

Joel will be working at our Braddon practice Tuesday 7:30am-5pm and Kingston Monday 7am-3pm, Wednesday 7am-5pm and Thursday 7am-5pm.
