Des completed his Physiotherapy degree at Charles Sturt University in Orange NSW, after completing a Bachelors in Exercise Science from the University of Wollongong.

Des has a diverse sporting background, having played basketball, tennis and soccer. He has a keen interest in strength training and calisthenics. He is passionate about helping people move and feel better through functional movement and exercise.

Professionally, he has experience with placements in orthopedics, neurological rehabilitation, and in private practice sports medicine. He is the current team physiotherapist with Hall Bushrangers rugby union.

He has a clinical interest in musculoskeletal injuries and pain management where he utilises evidence-based practice to deliver high quality care that aligns with his patients’ goals.

Des will be working at our Kingston practice Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 8am-5pm.
